Rody Bolands started life in Nenagh over 150 years ago founded by the Boland family, it acted as a cultural center where Farmers, Artists, Merchants and Musicians could leave there differences behind and talk drink, pints and the G.A.A. The pub closed in 1930 due to the great depression and remained untouched until recent years, when it was relocated to Dublin and restored by its current owners.
