The Distillery’s production areas, which are part of the tour,are not accessible by wheelchair. The tour may also not be
suitable for those who may have walking difficulties or who suffer from vertigo. However unfortunately due to the lay out of the production areas which are mostly located inside old buildings it is not possible for wheel chair users to take part in the guided tour.

The Gift Shop and Restaurant areas, all are wheel chair user friendly

In the Visitor Reception area there is an ongoing Audiovisual which tells the story of Bushmills Irish Whiskey and also how it is made.
Wheel chair users are given a complimentary ticket to visit the 1608 Bar and enjoy a sample of their choice from our range of whiskies on offer.
Should that person choose to wait while friends take the tour they will be offered a complimentary coffee in the Restaurant area. The tour will last 40 minutes.

In the interests of Health & Safety the Distillery operates a NO SMOKING policy on site, this includes inside buildings and all outside areas. Visitors who wish to smoke are required to go to the Public Car Park.

There is full access to the Visitors Centre, 1608 Bar, Gift Shops & Restaurant. Anyone who may be unable to join friends on
a tour is welcome to wait for their friends in the Bar, Gift Shop or Restaurant areas.

Situated two miles from the spectacular Giant's Causeway, and one mile from the historical Dunluce Castle the Distillery lies in an area of outstanding beauty, which is rich in history and folklore.

Here at Bushmills we invite you to experience for yourself the craft and skills of making an Irish Single Malt Whiskey. During our guided tour you will discover the secrets of the special water from St. Columb's Rill, the malted Irish barley, triple distillation in copper stills and ageing for long years in Oak Casks. Of course, no visit would be complete without enjoying a complimentary glass of the final product , one of our famous whiskeys.

All of our famous Whiskeys as well as a wonderful selection of Gift Items are available from our Gift Shop on site.

Tour tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis, places on tours are limited to 15 persons. Due to high demand there may be times when places on tours sell out before the last advertised tour time.

Children under 8 years old are welcome to visit the site but unfortunately for safety reason cannot join tour groups.
